For more than a decade, our mission has been to build comprehensive digital experiences for our clients and their users.
Now, we add another string to that bow as Buzinga’s mobile strategy, design and development team help form Butterfly’s expanded mobile division.
With consumers demanding more than ever from organisations operating the digital space, we have been looking for ways to strengthen our offering to clients. We honed in on integrating our web and mobile services. We are very proud to have successfully head-hunted one of the most talented app development teams Australia has to offer.
Who are team Buzinga?
The Buzinga team are specialists in helping businesses diversify their revenue streams by reaching their customers and stakeholders through app technology.
They have an eye for making the unconventional work and they’ve done it with more than 300 companies.
The revolutionary Foodswitch app saw the Buzinga team partner with Bupa and The George Institute for Global Health to demystify the packaged food market. The app gives users the power to choose healthier options in the supermarket just by scanning the barcode of any item. This is an app for the people and is now part of 1 in 10 Australian’s lives, it’s also available in six other countries, and has plans to enter the US.
They also helped multi-billion dollar steel producer, BlueScope make their first app, SteelDrive. Working alongside transport goliaths, Toll and K&S Transport, Buzinga created an app allowing truck drivers to easily document the restraining of their load through photo-taking, GPS tracking and cloud sharing. The industry showed their love for the app by awarding it several times over.
But, they didn't just work for the big end of town. In 2016 they joined the fight to educate people on the stark realities of drug addiction. The app, Ice Effex, uses image distortion facial recognition technology to show users what they’d look like as ice addicts. The app took out the Best Mobile Marketing Campaign at the 2016 App Design Awards. It garnered Ice Effex massive amounts of press and it has been downloaded in more than 75 countries.
We didn’t just fall in love with the Buzinga team for their awesome work. We have shared values, some of which are perfectly expressed in their mission statement:
“We believe that through inspiring our people with education and by creating an environment where they love to be, we can generate more ideas, optimise performance and manufacture happiness.”
So, it's no accident that for three years running the guys were judged as one of the Top 20 Coolest Tech Companies by Job Advisor
Like us, Buzinga’s team believes their in-house talent is the key to a client’s digital success. That means incubating their creativity in the right environment to allow it to thrive. These are our kind of people. They are passionate about their work, their ideas and their workspace.
So, what’s next?
The most important thing to know for the moment is, we are are still Butterfly, we’re just a bit bigger. We are always listening, always responsive, always working for your digital success.
We’re excited to be able to offer you and new clients more ways of reaching your users, creating new and reinvigorating old revenue streams, and simply making your brand work better in the digital space.
